This article has a bad title, and confuses the two components of the driver (radeon in X.org and r300 in the kernel).

While I agree to the former poster, I'm trying for months now to get my hands on some benchmarks of Quake 3 "demo four" on a r3x0-card driven by the "r300"-driver. If anybody is willing to undergo such a procedure, please contact me (or just post figures of relevance in here ;)
