Ultrabay 2000 Floppy Drive (08K9603)

This is a floppy disk drive that slides into an Ultrabay 2000.

  1. This FDD has no external connector that can be used to attach it to a device, unlike the previous renditions. However, an external cable kit (FRU: 27L0254/27L0525/27L0526) exists to allow external attachment of this FDD. That external cable kit requires a proprietary floppy connector to parallel port adapter (FRU: 08K6360/08K6359) to be somewhat useful, though.
