Entering any of those model numbers in IBM's support site brings up a page for a ThinkPad 600, not a 600D. I think the 600D name did exist in some parts systems, but that none were actually made, as nobody has ever seen one, but they have seen references to one. -- [[User:Whizkid|Whizkid]] 16:52, 16 May 2005 (CEST)

I've seen mention in several places of the 600D, except from IBM. I've never seen an IBM page say 600D. The hardware maintenance manual doesn't say 600D. Do any of these actually exist?

Yes they did

In EMEA at least 9 models where sold

  • 2645-210 - P233MMX, 13.0" HPA screen
  • 2645-410
  • 2645-510
  • 2645-910
  • 2645-350 - 12.1" 800x600 TFT
  • 2645-450
  • 2646-450
  • 2645-850
  • 2646-850

Unless otherwise noted, they had P2 processors ranging from 233-300MHz, 1024x768 13.3" TFT screens, 32 or 64MB RAM and 3.2, 4.0 or 5.1 GB HDD's.

Preloads where Win95 OSR 2.1, NT4, Win98 or 'none'.

Really?

Entering any of those model numbers in IBM's support site brings up a page for a ThinkPad 600, not a 600D. I think the 600D name did exist in some parts systems, but that none were actually made, as nobody has ever seen one, but they have seen references to one. -- Whizkid 16:52, 16 May 2005 (CEST)
