I'm a Thinkpad R61 owner. I'm in the process of installing Ubuntu 7.04.

Issues:

Sound -- installed kernel 2.6.23-R5

  • Need to reinstall iwp3945 I'm here
    • make oldconfig's .config didn't have the proper requirements for building iwp3945 Or was it?
    • Rebuilding Kernel with ieee80211

make SHELL=/bin/bash . Do Make sure that ieee80211 is in the kernel, but it should be by default! * Need to install nv or Nvidia Resolution sucks!

    • nv is in the kernel, I just saw it scrolling by...
    • To install Nvidia proprietary drivers or not to install Nvidia proprietary drivers?
  • Address LAN card latency issues, if existant
