I can report this issue on my X60s and WRT54GL router. Actually, it's most likely a driver issue. The first time I used the laptop, I installed a clean copy of WinXP Pro and added the latest drivers manually to it. No problems what so ever. After I received Lenovos Recovery Disks (thought it might add some additional software, etc), I ran a clean recovery install which resulted the problem mentioned!

X61s Model with Intel 3945ABG connected to my Linksys WRT54GL with hiddedn SSID has also been tested, but with a cleap XP install, NOT from the RECOVERY disks.

I believe smth. gets messed up while using the recovery disks. Although the latest Intel drivers are installed subsequently, the problem still occurs.
