I had exactly the same problem. I am not confident anymore in holding my T43 as I did with my 600X (old generation!).

Problem Description

Sitting in a meeting the other day with my new x41 I noticed that it wasn't siting on the table correctly. Specifically the front right foot was off the table enough to make the laptop shift when I would apply pressure above that foot. Upon further inspection I realized that when looking straight along the keyboard from the front (so the keys aren't visible) the line where the keyboard section and lcd section meet was not a straight line. To remedy the situation I applied a downward pressure on the front right while pulling upwards on the back left. I was successful in getting the laptop to sit straight and appear straight using the aforementioned method. However, I remain concerned that this is a flaw in the x41 that will not allow me to handle it as I did my previous x22 (one handed pickup from the front right corner).

Solutions

None that I know of, besides manually adjusting the laptop.

Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone experience a situation where the laptop shorts out do to the warping of that case / system parts?
