Lenovo 3000 is the public counterpart of the more professional Thinkpads.


Lenovo 3000 laptops share some parts with Thinkpads.

There are 3 series:

  • N widescreen like Z or recent T.
  • C entry priced ones
  • V light, 16:10

  • Processors range from CeleronM 410 1.4GHz to Core 2 Dup T7200 2.0GHz.
  • RAM from 256Mo to 1Go DDR2
  • Screen are 14'1 or 15'4, from 1280x800 to 1680x1050
  • HDD from 40Go to 120Go Hitachi or Toshiba, 5400rpm
  • CDRom to DVD-RAM combo.
  • Very thin 5in1 card reader
  • Ethernet 10/100 Realtek
  • Intel ipw 3945 ABG Wifi
  • Built-in bluetooth
  • FingerPrint reader
  • Fireware & USB2x4
  • PC Card Slot
  • 6 or 9 cells cells
  • From 1 year normal waranty to 3 year on site.

High end N100 like 0768-BJG are very similar to some Z61t or even some T60 Wide. N100 are a bit more heavy, not so strong. The top cover is not inalterable.

In the software point of view, N100 are crafted with the usual Rescue&Recovery partition, usual Thinkpads software like the Fn+F5 (wifi AP choice) or Fn+F7 (video output choice)
