• fglrx support is working fine.

• Result: Failure
  • Card/X hangs, but the system is running. No display.

• OS: Debian GNU/Linux Testing/Etch
• Kernel: 2.6.15-1-686-smp
• ATI driver 8.24.8
• Result: Working
  • Had to install libstc++5, else the display would stay black and would not return to shell, so all you can do is ctrl+alt+del

• OS: Ubuntu 6.06 Flight 6
• Kernel: 2.6.15-20-686-smp
• ATI driver 8.24.8
• Result: Working
  • Followed these instructions.

  • Driver can't find a compatible card
