A note on capacity
The capacity of this battery is 1.5Ah. For comparison, in the ThinkPad T40 series, the standard (6-cell) battery has a capacity of 4.8Ah and the extended life (9-cell) battery holds 7.2Ah. Thus, the UltraBay battery provides only a small improvement in total charge capacity. However, it makes it possible to swap the system battery without the need to reboot, hibernate or use an external power adapter.
