IBM PowerPC 603

The PowerPC 603 was designed as a low cost processor for mobile systems. The first models were slower than the 601, but it's advantages were it's small size and low power usage.

  • 0.5µm or 0.35µm fabrication process
  • 2x 8 KB or 2x 16 KB L1-Cache
  • external L2-Cache
