But good news are, that you can do the upgrade yourself, the QXGA LCD itself is needed, new inverter and LCD cable, also new LCD hinges are recommended, but that's not necessary, price of parts needed for this upgrade is nowadays about $500. According to available data a QXGA display version was never available, not even for CTO.
Just because the HMM lists something, does not mean it was ever used in any shipping model.
