This page still needs to be linked from one of the more central ThinkWiki pages. | + | The footnotes for the X series models regarding the UltraBase made me think that either the definition of Internal HD/FD/CD should be updated to include the UltraBase/ThinkPad Dock or that a few more columns should be added to the table for devices supported in UltraBase/ThinkPad Docks (such as SCSI devices). However, I do not have any experience with the UltraBase or Thinkpad Dock so I am really unsure to what extent they should be included or what boot performance is expected (if internal drives work, will dock devices work?). The footnotes for the X series models regarding the UltraBase made me think that either the definition of Internal HD/FD/CD should be updated to include the UltraBase/ThinkPad Dock or that a few more columns should be added to the table for devices supported in UltraBase/ThinkPad Docks (such as SCSI devices).
