I formatted my ThinkPad T43 before installing FC4 afresh and I upgraded it to  to FC5 and. I have not installed the Video driver before installing the OS(Windows XP and FC4).I can't play anything on video as it always crashes or stops half way.

Why using CFLAGS for pentium3 ?!?

I don't understand why i should use

CFLAGS="-march=pentium3 ...

since pentium3 is built 1999 and banias is built 2004! Would'nt it be better to use

CFLAGS="-march=pentium-m ..."

because GCC understands this since GCC 3.4.3
