The Intel Mobile Pentium 4-M is the low-power version of the Mobile Pentium 4. It is built on the NetBurst architecure, which is optimized for achieving performance through high clock speeds. The Mobile P4-M uses the Northwood core.

Features

  • 1.2 - 2.6 GHz clock speed
  • 400 MHz FSB
  • 55 Million Transistors
  • 0.13 µm fabrication process
  • 0.07 µm gates
  • 1.30/1.20 VCore
  • 8 KB L1 D-Cache, 12k uOps L1 trace cache
  • 512 KB L2-Cache
  • Enhanced SpeedStep, QuickStart, Deeper Sleep
  • MMX, SSE, SSE2 instruction sets

Note: This processor had efficiency problems, so Intel switched back to using the Tualatin architecture, releasing the Intel Pentium M (Banias) next.
