This is a proprietary docking station for models with a CS09 standard docking port. There are no known differences concerning the 90 W, 135 W, and the 170 W variant, with the exception of the AC adapters provided.

  1. For USB 3.0 variants of this dock, a single USB 3.0 Type-A port is available. However, 1 eSATAp port is removed as a result of this addition.
  2. The USB 3.0 variant of this dock does not support USB 3.0 operation on any Arrandale or Sandy Bridge model, with the exception of the X220 due to design limitations.
  3. This model requires the alignment guide to be removed, otherwise it will not be able to dock. Click on this image for more details: Kaze22Series3Mod.jpeg
  4. This model requires the ThinkPad CS09 Dock Adapter to be attached, otherwise it will not be able to dock.
  5. This port cannot be used if an L412 or an L512 is used to operate the dock.
