Advice for 3rd party clones
Certain clones are built in such a way that they unintentionally create a poor connection to the Ultrabay's connector, which can be seen here:
Avoid these clones, as the chance of the adapter making contact with the Ultrabay will be very low.
If possible, try to find clones such as this adapter, as pictured above. This ensures a reliable connection as the contact with the Ultrabay is not blocked by any additional plastic.
Linux support
