Intel Gigabit Ethernet Controller

This is a Intel Ethernet chip that is integrated on the systemboard of select ThinkPads.

N.B.: This family of controller should not be confused with the Intel Gigabit Ethernet PCI-Express Controller family.

  • Auto MDIX (Automatic Crossover)

Linux support

These Ethernet chips are supported by the e1000 driver.
