Forgot the voodoo, that I (Dotz) wrote earlier on this topic. You can still check the page history.
As long as you have your BIOS upgraded and the fan speeds up while heat rises, if your G41 is overheating, that's probably a hardware problem.
Today, I tore my G41 apart, disassembled the fan, cleaned it and put some extra thermal paste on CPU (that's very important).
And guess what. Works like a charm. There's no more overheat problem for me.
