::The connector NOT 2,5 inner 5,5 outer. The connector is inner ~⌀3,5 mm. outer ~⌀6 mm. Also I confirm it absolutely accepts 18V, that also the 340CSE uses the same AC adapter according to maintenance manuals, (strongly suggesting all 34x). :A photo will be a useful addition.  Do you have a 3.5 mm mini phone plug (such as microphone, earbuds, audio patch cable) handy?  Try to insert such a plug into your 340 plug: if it does not fit, then 340 centre diameter is less than 3.5 mm.  Then, I suspect it uses same connector as 350, 500.
