This page provides a list of current and discontinued technologies that are specific to ThinkPads.

Some of the newer technologies are branded under the umbrella term called 'ThinkVantage Technologies', which is supposedly meant to 'reduce cost and improve productivity'. For some of the older technologies, they are no longer available in newer ThinkPads. If you are interested in a ThinkPad that features these old technologies, see Old ThinkPad Niches for the latest models that contain the discontinued technologies of your choice.
